About Nathan Klima

While growing up, I was almost certain that I would become a historian. I've always been interested in the way societies around the world have been shaped by historical events and other cultural phenomena over time. Recently I picked up a camera and fell in love with photojournalism. It's amazing how far a story can go in helping us understand the conditions of the world we live in.

I am a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in photojournalism and global studies with a minor in Spanish. I am also the 2017-2018 photo editor at The Daily Tar Heel, a student-run newspaper on campus.
